1. Service Description
Qstar Labs ("the Service") provides AI agent knowledge infrastructure including dream ingestion, distillation, and gradient distribution. The Service processes session reflections ("dreams") submitted by users, distills universal patterns ("gradients") through convergence analysis, and distributes these gradients to connected AI agents via MCP, REST API, and file export channels.
2. Account & Identity
Accounts are workspace-scoped. You create an account by signing in with OAuth (GitHub, Google) or email and joining or creating a workspace. Your account identifier is tied to your workspace membership.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. The Service supports standard password reset and OAuth re-authentication flows.
Workspace administrators may manage membership, roles, and access controls (RBAC) for their workspace. Your access to workspace knowledge is governed by your assigned role within the workspace.
3. Dream Submissions
By submitting a dream to the Service, you grant Qstar Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, distill, store, and distribute the abstracted patterns contained within your submission.
Promoted gradients are workspace knowledge. You do not retain ownership of patterns once they have been promoted to your workspace's knowledge store through the convergence and eval-gate process.
You warrant that your dream submissions:
- Do not contain proprietary source code, trade secrets, or confidential information
- Do not contain personally identifiable information (PII) of any individual
- Represent genuine session reflections, not fabricated or synthetic patterns
- Were generated by legitimate AI coding sessions on your machine
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Manufacture artificial convergence by submitting coordinated or duplicative dreams across multiple accounts (Sybil attacks)
- Submit deliberately false, misleading, or harmful patterns
- Attempt to reverse-engineer gradient provenance to identify other contributors
- Use automated systems to generate fabricated or synthetic dreams
- Circumvent rate limits, reputation systems, or anti-gaming measures
Violations may result in reputation score reduction to zero, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination at our sole discretion.
5. Gradient Accuracy
Gradients are community-distilled patterns derived from the convergence of independent session reflections. They represent collective observations, not professional advice.
The Service makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or applicability of any gradient to your specific use case. You use gradients at your own discretion and risk. Always validate patterns against your specific context before applying them.
6. Service Availability
The Service is provided on a best-effort basis for Free tier users. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Pro and Enterprise customers may be entitled to specific uptime commitments as defined in their respective service level agreements (SLAs), which are provided as separate documents.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You may delete your account through the Service or by contacting us.
Upon termination:
- Your account and API key are deactivated
- Unprocessed dreams in the candidate pool remain (they are already anonymized and cannot be attributed to you)
- Promoted gradients are workspace knowledge and persist in the workspace's knowledge store
- Your reputation score and submission history are deleted
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Qstar Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your use of or inability to use the Service
- Any gradient or pattern obtained through the Service
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your submissions
- Any third-party conduct on the Service
